On January 18, the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) took measures to help with electricity costs to help. Free use of electricity

1. Residential electricity users Category 1.1.1

- Use no more than 90 units of electricity, use free electricity

- Use over 90 units of electricity, use the first 90 units of free electricity and charge electricity from the 91st unit onwards

2. Small business type 2 electricity user, excluding government agencies and state enterprises.

- Use no more than 50 units of electricity, use free electricity

- Use more than 50 units of electricity, use the first 50 units of free electricity and charge electricity from the 51st unit onwards as usual, giving a discount on electricity bills.

Residential electricity users of categories 1.1.2 and 1.2 use the electricity consumption unit according to the electricity bill for December 2020 as the base month for billing.

1. Monthly electricity consumption is less than or equal to the base month's electricity consumption unit, the electricity cost shall be charged from the actual electricity consumption unit in that month

2. Monthly electricity consumption is greater than the base month's electricity consumption unit.

2.1 Use not more than 500 units of electricity, the same amount charged as the unit of December 2020

2.2 Use electricity more than 500 but not more than 1,000 units charged with the same electricity tariff as of December 2020, plus 50 percent of the excess units in December 2020.

2.3 More than 1,000 units of electricity used, the electricity rate is equal to that of December 2020 plus 70 percent of the excess units in December 2020.
